the couple have been created with the use of a stencil (designed and hand-cut by Johnman) with the splashes of colour then applied with a gently mis-fired spray can

Poolbeg (Gift Sized Original) Seascape Here the cannon is blastingThis painting entitled "Poolbeg" features the wet sands of Sandymount Strand at low tide with the unmistakeable and iconic Poolbeg Towers reflected in the rippling puddles and dominating the skyline. The colours in the sky have been applied with Johnman's inimitable palate gently missed into each other. The sand is created, using a vibrant metallic gold, overlaid with a transparent, gold glitter varnish to give it the sparkle and lustre of being wet.
